The high-performance Supermicro Hyper A+ 1125HS-TNR server is designed for virtualization, cloud computing, AI inference, and machine learning. This 1U system features dual sockets with support for 4th generation AMD EPYC 9004 series processors, each socket can be outfitted with CPUs offering up to 96 cores. On the front, 8x SFF hot-swap drive bays are standard but the system can support up to 12x 2.5” hot-swap drives with additional parts.
Powered by the Super H13DSH motherboard, the Supermicro Hyper A+ 1125HS-TNR server holds dual 4th generation AMD EPYC 9004 series processors. Each AMD EPYC processor supports up to 96 cores and 192 threads, plus a thermal design point (TDP) of up to 360W. To support these and other components, the back of the chassis features an 800W or 1200W Titanium Common Redundant Power Supply (CRPS) with Power Management Bus (PMBus) power supply.
Embedded in the silicon, each 9004 series CPU supports 12x memory channels. This system can be outfitted with 1x DIMMs per channel with a total of 24x memory module slots divided between the 2x CPUs. Outfitted with 24x 3DS ECC DDR5 RDIMMs supporting 256GB each, the Hyper A+ 1125HS-TNR server can provide a total of up to 6TB of memory with speeds of up to 4800MHz.
The Supermicro 1125HS-TNR server holds 8x 2.5” hot-swap drive bays on the front panel for NVMe, SATA, or SAS configurations. With additional parts, it will take up to 12x SFF hot-swap drive bays. In addition to the drive bays up front, there are dual NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 with 2280 and 22110 form factors can be mounted on the motherboard to boot the operating system in a mirrored RAID.
The rear of the chassis provides access to 3x PCIe 5.0 x16 expansion slots. A full-height, 6.6" card can fit in one slot, and full-height, 10.5" cards can fit in the other two. A PCIe 5.0 x16 Advanced I/O Module (AIOM) slot that is OCP NIC 3.0 compatible, is located directly beneath the smaller PCIe slot.
The 1U Supermicro Hyper A+ 1125HS-TNR system is ideal for software-defined storage and for use as an enterprise server. The platform supports two AMD EPYC 9004 series processors, each with 96 cores and 192 threads. On the front panel, it supports 8x drive bays with NVMe, SAS, or SATA configurations, and the potential of supporting 12x hybrid bays with additional parts. When all 24x DIMM slots are populated, the system supports up to 6TB of memory to provide exceptional performance for a number of memory-intensive applications.
