Powered by a single AMD EPYC 8004 series processor, the Supermicro WIO SuperServer 1015SV-WTNRT is ideal for virtualization, firewall applications, and more. The system supports CPUs with up to 64 cores and 128 threads, plus a maximum TDP of 225W when air cooled. Up to 768GB of RDIMM memory can be installed running at speeds of up to 4800MT/s when all 6x DIMM slots are filled. For graphics support, the system can be outfitted with up to 1x double-width or 2x single-width GPUs such as the NVIDIA L40, L4, or A2.
The short-depth, 1U Supermicro SuperServer 1015SV-WTNRT measures 25.6” in depth, and con support a variety of applications. The front of the chassis holds 4x hot-swap 3.5" drive bays for SATA drive types, which is the default configuration, or optionally for NVMe/SAS drive types. In addition, there are 2x M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0 x4 slots on the system board for 2280 or 22110 cards.
The Supermicro 1015SV-WTNRT provides expansion capabilities via 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 full-height, full-length (FHFL) slots and 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 low-profile (LP) slot, enabling high-bandwidth connectivity for add-on cards. This system is equipped with two 860-watt redundant power supply modules in a 1+1 configuration, each certified to the 80 PLUS Titanium efficiency standard.
System management is facilitated by Supermicro SuperDoctor 5, Supermicro Update Manager, SuperServer Automation Assistant, and other software utilities. Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 is a one-to-one software suite that monitors and manages the server through both Windows and Linux platforms. It offers command-line and web-based interfaces, enabling administrators to monitor critical system metrics such as CPU temperature, power consumption, fan speed, and system voltage. SuperDoctor 5 supports alert notifications via email and SNMP, allowing for proactive issue detection and resolution. The tool can be deployed to manage individual servers or scaled for centralized oversight of multiple systems, whether locally or remotely. For one-to-many management of data center appliances, there’s the Supermicro Server Manager or SSM.
