NVMe and SAS support may require an additional storage controller and cables. Similarly, the server is equipped with 2x M.2 PCIe 5.0 x2 NVMe slots, compatible with 2280 and 22110 form factor cards. The Supermicro SuperServer 112B-WR is a highly adaptable 1U system built to support up to 2x single-width GPUs through a PCIe 5.0 x16 CPU-to-GPU interconnect. It supports a tool-less, top-loading riser design which accommodates 3x PCIe 5.0 expansion slots: 1x PCIe 5.0 x8 (in x16) LP slot and 2x PCIe 5.0 x16 FHFL slots. Featuring 8-channel memory architecture, when all 8x DIMM slots are filled with 128GB RDIMMs, the server can support up to 1TB of memory, operating at speeds of up to 6400 MT/s.

On the rear of the chassis, you'll find dual 860W Redundant (1 + 1) Titanium Level (96%) power supplies, along with a serial port, VGA port, 2x RJ45 1GbE LAN ports, 2x USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, and a dedicated BMC LAN port. Administrators can manage the system using Supermicro's suite of software tools, including SuperCloud Composer, Supermicro Server Manager, and SuperServer Automation Assistant.

*This system is available only as a fully assembled server, requiring at least 1x CPU, 1x DIMM, and 1x storage device (HDD/HDS/M.2).
