The Tyan TS70B7136 B7136T70V10E4HR-2T-HE Server is built for warm storage applications where data is occasionally accessed but must be readily available if needed. Each CPU is equipped with 8-channel memory architecture with 8x memory module slots each for 16x DDR5 DIMM slots between the two and a maximum memory capacity of up to 2TB. It is compatible with both RDIMMs and 3DS RDIMMs, operating at speeds of up to 5600 MHz, depending on the installed CPU. 1300W redundant 80-PLUS Titanium PSUs with 1+1 redundancy supply the power.

Up to 5x PCIe Gen5 slots are offered on the TS70B7136 B7136T70V10E4HR-2T-HE storage system via 2x pre-installed riser cards. One riser holds a full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slot plus a full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x8 slot. The second riser provides 1x full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slot and 2x full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x8 slots. For additional networking flexibility, the system also has a PCIe Gen5 x16 OCP 3.0 mezzanine card slot. There are 2x 10GBase-T LAN and 1x dedicated 1000Base-T IPMI ports on the rear of the chassis.

System management is handled by the onboard ASPEED AST2600, which serves as an IPMI 2.0 baseboard management controller. Accessible through the dedicated GbE port on the rear of the chassis, it enables both local and remote administration of the system. Using this utility, Administrators can monitor critical hardware metrics such as CPU temperature, system status, power usage, component inventory, and fan speeds.
