Supporting multiple GPU cards, the Tyan Thunder HX FT65TB7130 B7130F65TV10H-2T-N GPU Tower features dual 4th or 5th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors. CPUs with up to 32 cores can be installed supporting a maximum TDP of 250W. The front panel includes 2x hot-swap 2.5” SATA HDD/SSD drive bays located above 8x hot-swap 3.5” SAS/SATA HDD/SSD bays. Additionally, the system supports 1x M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 card with a 2280 form factor, providing further flexibility for high-speed storage solutions. Sporting an 8-channel memory architecture, the system supports up to 2TB of DDR5 memory when all 16x memory module slots are filled.
5th generation CPUs provide a maximum memory speed of up to 5600MHz, optimizing performance for demanding workloads. With 4th generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors installed memory speed will top out at 4800MHz. 5x PCIe slots directly on the motherboard, add to the system’s expandability and versatility. This configuration includes 2x PCIe Gen5 x8 slots and 3x PCIe Gen5 x16 slots, allowing for a wide range of high-performance cards to be installed. Specifically, the Thunder HX FT65TB7130 B7130F65TV10H-2T-N can accommodate 2x full-height, double-wide PCIe 5.0 x16 cards.
On the rear panel, the Thunder HX B7130F65TV10H-2T-N is equipped with 2x 10GbE ports and 1x GbE port dedicated to the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) for management of the system. The system’s monitoring and control can be managed both at the chassis level and remotely, thanks to the IPMI baseboard management controller powered by the onboard Aspeed AST2600. This feature allows administrators to efficiently oversee system performance and health from anywhere. Users have the option to install either an 80 Plus Platinum 1500W power supply unit (PSU) or an 80 Plus Gold 2000W PSU. Just behind the drive bays there are 3x easy-swap fans, plus 2x exhausted fans modules at the rear.
