Offering 32x memory module slots, the Tyan Thunder HX TS75AB7132 B7132T75AV10E16HR-2T Server supports up to 4TB of memory when all slots are populated with 128GB DDR5 DIMMs. Dual sockets on this system support Intel Xeon Scalable CPUs from the 4th generation with 8x memory channels and up to 60 cores with a TDP of up to 350W each. 26x 2.5” drive bays in front are divided by SAS/SATA or NVMe drive interface. 10x hot-swap SAS/SATA HDDs are assigned light blue tabs, while the remaining 16x NVMe U.2 drive bays have dark blue tabs. To avoid using a storage drive for the OS, the system board features 2x M.2 slots with a PCIe Gen4 interface to support 22110 or 2280 cards.
As a warm storage server, this appliance stores data that may be needed on a continued basis and offers quick retrieval. There are 2x pre-installed riser cards for a total of 5x expansion slots on this system. One PCIe Gen.5 x4 slot, 2x Gen.5 x8 slots, and 2x Gen.5 x16 slots are among the available slots. Additionally, this platform includes 1x PCIe Gen5 x16 mezzanine slot for an OCP 3.0 networking card. Networking interfaces on the B7136T70V10E4HR Server include dual 10Gbase-T LAN ports and one GbE port specifically for IPMI.
