12x memory channels per CPU enable a total of 24x memory module slots on the TS70AB8056 B8056T70AE26HR-2T server. Up to 3,072GB of DDR5 ECC registered (RDIMM) memory modules are supported by the AMD EPYC processor. As an all-flash storage server, the Tyan Transport SX B8056T70AE26HR-2T supports 26x 2.5” hot-swap NVMe U.2 drive bays with light blue tabs on the front panel. In addition to the external drive bays, this system has 2x NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 slots on the motherboard, which can be populated with 22110 or 2280 cards.
There are 2x pre-installed riser cards on the Tyan TS70AB8056 B8056T70AE26HR-2T server. One holds 2x full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots while the other supports one full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x8 slot.
