Featuring a 12-channel memory architecture, the CPU is in charge of 24x DDR5 DIMM slots compatible with DDR5-4800 RDIMM and 3DS RDIMM modules. The Tyan B8056T70V8E6HR-2T-HE Storage Server is well-suited for a wide range of storage-intensive applications within different industries to maximize performance and scalability in the data center. For expansion, the system includes 2x pre-installed riser cards: one for 2x FH/HL PCIe 5.0 x16 slots and the other for 1x FH/HL PCIe 5.0 x8 slot. In addition, the storage server offers 2x full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x16 slots, 1x full-height, half-length PCIe 5.0 x8 slot, and 1x PCIe 5.0 x16 OCP v3.0 mezzanine slot for extra networking options. Power is supplied by a redundant (1+1) 1300W hot-swappable CRPS power supply unit, certified to the 80 Plus Titanium efficiency standard.

This AMD-based platform features 12x hot-swap 3.5” drive bays on the front panel, which can accommodate 8x 2.5”/3.5” SATA HDDs/SSDs and 4x NVMe HDDs/SSDs. For HBA, and RAID this platform supports the SupremeRAID SR-1010 featuring a PCIe 4.0 x16 interface and support for up to 32x NVMe storage devices with low-latency. On the rear panel, there are 2x hot-swap 2.5” NVMe U.2 drive bays. Under the hood, you will find dual M.2 PCIe Gen4 slots compatible with 2280 and 22110 cards for additional high-speed storage.

System health and infrastructure management are streamlined via the integrated Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI), powered by the ASPEED AST2600 baseboard management controller (BMC). This enables comprehensive remote monitoring and management of hardware status, thermal conditions, and performance metrics, enhancing operational efficiency and uptime.
