The Supermicro SuperBlade 6119R-T3N is a single socket server compatible with Intel Xeon Processor W Family CPUs. 8x DIMM slots on the system board support up to 512GB of memory. 3x 2.5-inch hot-pluggable drive bays on the front of the system support SATA or NVMe storage.
A single CPU socket is housed on this system which is compatible with the Intel Xeon Processor W Family CPUs. The single CPU socket supports 8x DIMM slots and holds up to 512GB of memory when 64GB LRDIMM modules are used. The front of the system houses 3x 2.5-inch hot-pluggable hybrid drive bays. The Supermicro 6119R-T3N is housed in the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 610J Family. With up to 7x 6U Supermicro 610J enclosures, and each enclosure supporting 10x of these SuperBlades, that’s 70 CPUs in a standard 42U rack.
A single Intel Xeon Processor W 2100 Family CPU provides the compute power of this system and up to 18 physical cores and 36 virtual threads using Intel’s Hyper-Threading Technology. These processors also support up to 4x memory channels.
The front of the Supermicro 6119R-T3N Server node houses 3x 2.5-inch hot-pluggable drive bays. These drive bays can be outfitted with either NVMe or SATA3 drives. The SATA3 drives support RAID of 0, 1, 5, and 10 via the Intel C422 chipset.
8x DDR4 DIMM slots are provided on the system board through the single CPU socket. Both Load Reduced (LRDIMM) and Registered (RDIMM) memory module formats are compatible on this system. When 64GB modules of LRDIMMs are installed, the system can support up to 512GB of memory. With 32GB RDIMM modules the system can hold up to 256GB of memory. Memory speeds of 2666MHz and 2400MHz are compatible with this system.
Dual 10GbE ethernet ports on this system board automatically connect to the enclosure, which features I/O modules in back. If additional expansion is required, the 6U enclosures for the Supermicro 6119R-T3N node has 4x 25/10/1 GbE ethernet switches.
Management options for the Supermicro SuperBlade 6119R-T3N node are provided by the enclosure that houses the 6119R-T3N which features dual Chassis Management Modules (CMM) in the rear. The CMMs access the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) in each node through the integrated platform management interface (IPMI) for remote management, troubleshooting and to configure alerts.
With a single processor configuration, the Supermicro SuperBlade 6119R-T3N Server houses 8x DIMM slots and up to 512GB of DDR4 LRDIMM memory. The Intel Xeon Processor W Family provides the necessary compute power for this system with 4 to 18 cores. 3x 2.5-inch hot-pluggable drive bays on the front of the system can be configured with NVMe or SATA3 drive types.
