The Supermicro SuperBlade 6419P-C3N holds up to 2x 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. Each socket supports 6x DIMM slots for a total of 12x DIMM slots on the system board. The front of the system houses 3x drive bays which support hybrid drive options.
One or two 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable provide the computational power for the Supermicro 6419P-C3N. Each socket supports 6x DIMM slots meaning there is a total of 12x DIMM slots. When fully configured with 32GB Very Low Profile (VLP) memory modules the maximum memory capacity of this system is 384GB. The front of the system holds 3x 2.5-inch hybrid hot-swappable drive bays, which are compatible with NVMe or SAS3/SATA3 drives. The Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E family houses this system.
Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E-822 Enclosure with 8x hot-pluggable 2200W Titanium power supplies
Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E-622 Enclosure with 6x hot-pluggable 2200W Titanium power supplies + 2x cooling fans
Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E-422 Enclosure with 4x hot-pluggable 2200W Titanium power supplies + 4x cooling fans
Dual 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors provide the computational power for the Supermicro SuperBlade 6419P-C3N server. The system is compatible with CPUs up to 28 physical cores and 56 virtual threads which make use of Intel’s Hyper-Threading Technology. As one of Supermicro’s SuperBlade enclosures, this system is used for high-performance computing applications, plus as an enterprise server and for highly virtualized environments.
The front of the Supermicro 6419P-C3N Server node holds 3x hybrid 2.5-inch drive bays. The system can also be configured to hold 2x hot-pluggable 2.5-inch NVMe drives and 1x hot-pluggable 2.5-inch SAS3/SATA3 drives. The Supermicro 6419P-C3N is outfitted with a Broadcom 3108 SAS3 controller which allows HW RAID of 0, 1, and 5 levels. Virtual RAID on CPU (vROC) is also supported with the addition of one of 3x different vROC key options. VROC offers a hybrid RAID for NVMe SSDs via the Volume Management Device integrated with Intel’s Xeon Scalable processors
6x DIMM slots are available per CPU socket on the Supermicro 6419P-C3N node for a total of 12x DIMM slots. A maximum of 384GB of memory can be configured on this system when using 32GB Very Low Profile (VLP) ECC DDR4 2933Mhz memory modules. In addition to the 2933Mhz memory speed, the Supermicro 6419P-C3N also supports speeds of 2666MHz and 2400MHz depending on the installed processors and memory modules.
Dual 10GbE ethernet switches can be found on back of the Supermicro 6419P-C3N. These ethernet ports automatically connect with the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E family I/O modules on the back of the system. One or two I/O modules can be installed and offer 10/1 GbE ethernet.
Managing the Supermicro 6419P-C3N is achieved through its compatible enclosure. The enclosure holds a single Chassis Management Module (CMM) in the rear which grants it access to the Baseboard Management Controller housed in each of the server nodes supported by the enclosure. The BMC is Integrated Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0 compatible for integration with other third-party hardware.
Dual 1st or 2nd generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors provide compute to the Supermicro SuperBlade 6419P-C3N Server node, 14x of which can be installed in the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 614E. When all 12x DDR4 DIMM slots are populated with 32GB modules, the system holds a maximum capacity of 384GB of memory. 3x 2.5-inch drive bays on the front of each server node support a hybrid storage condition.
