Designed for high-performance computing and GPGPUs, the Tyan Transport HX TS75B8252 B8252T75V8E4HR-2T Server supports two AMD EPYC 7002/7003 processors, and PCIe 4.0. Nvidia’s Quadro RTX and T4 GPUs deliver increased performance for graphics-based analytics programs, streaming services, and distributed environments.

Both second- and third-generation AMD EPYC series processors are supported with each CPU supporting 8x memory channels and 16 DIMM slots, with up to 2x modules per channel. Third-generation (MILAN) AMD EPYC processors provide a 19% increase in performance over the second-generation (ROME) CPUs.
12x storage bays lining the front of the Tyan TS75B8252 B8252T75V8E4HR-2T Server are color-coded with the 4x light blue levers on the left indicating NVMe drive support, while the dark blue levers indicate support for SATA drives. Two OCulink PCIe cards provide a direct connection to the PCIe 4.0 lanes for support of the NVMe drives. The SATA drives are also supported natively.
With both processors installed the system will support up to 32 memory modules for a total of up to 8TB of memory using registered (RDIMM) memory modules. In addition, 3DS RDIMMs, 3DS load-reduced DIMMS and regular LRDIMMs are supported in various capacities and memory speeds.
All PCIe slots support PCIe 4.0 for even more performance. There are four x16 slots for support of either four Nvidia T4 cards or two double-wide Quadro RTX 6000 cards. An additional PCIe 4.0 x8 slot can be used for an HD controller, HBA or I/O controllers. A dedicated x16 slot is provided for support of an OCP 2.0 card for faster I/O, plus 2x integrated 10GbE ports.
A dedicated 1GbE port on the back of the Tyan B8252T75V8E4HR-2T Server provides access to the AST2500 management module for at chassis and remote management of the system. It offers integrated platform management interface (IPMI 2.0) for compatibility with other third-party hardware.
