The Supermicro SuperBlade 4114S-C2N Server is a single socket system which supports a 7003 or 7002 Series AMD EPYC Processor. A total of 8x DIMM slots can be found on the system board. The individual server nodes are held in the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 820H family. The front of the system houses 2x 2.5-inch hybrid drive bays and has 2x M.2 slots available on the system board.
Designed for the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 820H-822 and 820H-622, each Supermicro SuperBlade 4114S-C2N server can be outfitted with a single AMD EPYC 7003 or 7002 Series Processor. A single 42U enclosure outfitted with 5x 820H enclosures populated with this half-height server will support up to 100 CPUs. The CPU socket supports 8x DIMM slots which can be populated with up to 2TB of 3DS ECC DDR4 memory. The dual 2.5-inch hybrid drives on the front of the system support NVMe/SAS3/SATA3 drives. As part of the SuperBlade enclosure this system is designed to support applications in enterprise cloud and high-performance computing (HPC).

The Supermicro 4114S-C2N can be outfitted with a single 7002 or 7003 AMD EPYC Series Processor. The compatible CPUs on this system have a Thermal Design Point (TDP) of 280W and can support SKUs with up to 64 physical cores and 128 virtual threads. This system is ideal for workloads requiring high core and thread counts.
The front of the Supermicro 4114S-C2N server node houses dual hot-pluggable 2.5-inch hybrid drive bays. These drive bays are compatible with NVMe, SAS3, or SATA3 drives. The Supermicro 4114S-C2N also has 2x M.2 PCIe 4.0 x4 drive bays in a 22110 form factor for fast access system storage or to support the boot drive in mirror mode for redundancy.
A total of 8x DIMM slots are available on the system board. Fully configured, the system can hold up to 2TB pf memory when 256GB DDR4 ECC modules are used. The memory speed supported on this system is 3200MHz using Registered (RDIMMs) or Load-Reduced (LRDIMM) memory modules.
Expanding the capabilities of the Supermicro 4114S-C2N node are achieved through the supported enclosure, which connects to the SuperBlade server through a midplane. The Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 820H provides 2x 10GbE ethernet switches housed at the back of the enclosure in one or two I/O modules offering redundancy. A single 200GbE HDR IB switch can also be installed into the enclosure. A single Chassis Management Module (CMM) for server management tasks is supported on the rear of the SBE 820H enclosures.
To manage the Supermicro 4114S-C2N, the SBE 820H features a single Chassis Management Module (CMM) which grants access to the Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) in each SuperBlade server node. The Integrated Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0 is compatible with the Aspeed AST2500 BMC and allows integrate with other third-party manufacturers.
The computational power of the Supermicro SuperBlade 4114S-C2N server is provided by a single AMD EPYC 7003 or 7002 Series Processor. Up to 20x half-height server nodes can be installed on the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 820H-822 or 820H-622 platforms for up to 20x CPUs per enclosure using all single-socket blades. The server node supports up to 2TB of memory via the 8x DIMM slots found on the system board as well as dual hybrid 2.5-inch drive bays on the front of the system.
