The Supermicro SuperBlade 4114S-T2N Server is a single socket platform compatible with AMD EPYC 7003 or 7002 Series Processors. There are 8x DIMM slots on the system board supported by the single socket. On the front of the system, dual 2.5-inch hot-pluggable hybrid drive bays provide storage along with 2x PCIe M.2 drive bays found in the system.
The Supermicro SuperBlade 4114S-T2N is the compatible with the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 820H Family. When fully configured, the enclosure can hold 20x of these half-height server nodes. A single 42U enclosure outfitted with 5x SBE 820H enclosure can hold up to 100 CPUs when outfitted with the 4114S-T2N. This server node has a single socket which supports the AMD EPYC 7003 or 7002 Series Processors. With each CPU socket in charge of 8x DIMM slots, at capacity, it can support up to 2TB of 3DS ECC DDR4 memory. The dual hybrid 2.5-inch drive bays support NVMe or SATA3 drives. As part of the SuperBlade enclosure, this system is an ideal platform for high-performance computing and enterprise cloud applications.

A single AMD’s EPYC 7003 or 7002 Series processor is compatible with the Supermicro SuperBlade 4114S-T2N server. The server has a Thermal Design Point of 280W and supports CPUs with up to 64 physical cores and 128 virtual threads. These processors also support PCIe 4.0 and feature an 8x memory channel system on a chip (SoC) architecture.
Dual 2.5-inch hot-pluggable SATA3/NVMe drive bays are housed on the front of the Supermicro 4114S-T2N Server Node. The Supermicro 4114S-T2N node also has 2x M.2 PCIe x4 slots on the system board for fast access storage or to support the boot drive.
With 8x memory channels, the Supermicro SuperBlade 4114S-T2N has 8x DIMM slots available for a single memory module per channel. When fully configured, this system holds up to 2TB of memory using 256GB DDR4 ECC modules in all slots. Both 3DS Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs) and Load-Reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMs) are compatible with this system and will support memory speeds of 3200MHz.
Additional expansion of the capabilities are supported by the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 820H. With 2x 25G onboard I/O, the node connects to the enclosure through the midplane and connects to dual redundant ethernet switches housed on the rear of the enclosure. An optional single 200GbE HDR IB switch can be installed onto the enclosure. For server management purposes, a single Chassis Management Module is supported on the rear of the SBE 820H enclosure.
Managing the Supermicro SuperBlade 4114S-T2N node is achieved through the SBE 820H enclosure family. The enclosures grant access to the Aspeed AST2500 Baseboard Management Controller (BMC). The Integrated Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0 is compatible with IPMI 2.0, KVM over IP, and Virtual Media over LAN, making it easy to integrate with third-party manufacturers.
