The Supermicro SuperBlade 4119MG-X Server is a single socket GPU server compatible with the Intel Xeon Processor E-2100 and E-2200 series. It’s designed to be housed in one of Supermicro’s SuperBlade Enclosures. The CPU socket supports 4 DIMM slots on the system board for up to 128GB of memory. A single NVMe/SATA3 M.2 slot is available on the system board along with a SATA DOM.
Compatible with a single Intel Xeon E-2100 or E-2200 Series Processor, the Supermicro SuperBlade 4119MG-X Server supports a single Double Width GPU or dual single-width GPUs. Added to one of Supermicro’s SuperBlade Enclosures, this system provides dense compute with up to 20x of these server blades per chassis, that can be mixed with other supported SuperBlade servers supporting either Intel or AMD processors. The compatible enclosures for this system include Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 820C, 820J, and 820L enclosure families. This particular SuperBlade server offers a total of 4x DIMM slots on the system board, with a single NVMe/SATA3 M.2 drive providing support for the OS.

The motherboard of the Supermicro 4119MG-X Server can house a single CPU from the Intel Xeon E2100 or E2200 Series Processor family. The Thermal Design Point of this system is 95W to limit heat build-up and protect critical components. With these specifications in mind, the E2100 Series Processors can hold up to 6x physical cores and 12x virtual threads. The E2200 Series Processors on the other hand support up to 8x physical cores and 16x virtual threads.
1x NVMe/SATA3 M.2 slot is installed in a x4 slot on the edge of the system board of the Supermicro SuperBlade 4119MG-X node. This storage solution offers fast access storage and support for the OS through super-fast transfer speeds and quick boot times. With limited storage available, this node is primarily used for processing power.
A total of 4x DDR4 ECC DIMM slots are available on the system board of the Supermicro 4119MG-X node. Fully configured, this system supports up to 128GB of memory when populated with 32GB unbuffered memory modules (UDIMMs). The supported memory speeds on this system include 2666MHz, 2400MHz, and 2133MHz depending on the memory modules, processor and memory configuration.
To expand the system capabilities of the Supermicro 4119MG-X server node a single PCIe 3.0 x16 slot for a double width GPU like the Nvidia Tesla V100 or 2x PCIe 3.0 x8 slots for 2x single-width GPUs like the Nvidia Tesla T4 is supported, which is suitable for distributed environments. In addition, the compatible enclosures for this system include the 820C, 820J, and 820L Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosures, which feature various numbers of I/O modules with support for different data transfer speeds. The server nodes connect to the enclosure through a direct connection to the midplane, which in turn connects to the I/O modules and Chassis Management Modules (CMM). The Intel X710 network controller supports 2x 10GbE onboard ports.
To manage the server, the compatible Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosures 820C, 820J, 820L families grant access to the Aspeed AST2500 Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) in each server node through either 1x or 2x CMMs. The Integrated Platform Management Interface (IPMI 2.0) supported on this server is compatible with KVM over IP and Virtual Media over LAN for ease of compatibility with third-party hardware and software utilities. Supermicro SuperCloud Composer (SCC) also provides an elegant solution for managing the entire system as an automated, software-defined composable infrastructure.
Outfitted with a single Intel Xeon E-2100 or E-2200 Series Processor, the Supermicro SuperBlade 4119MG-X offers high-density GPU server capabilities for Several Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosures. When fully configured, this node supports 128GB of memory and 1x NVMe/SATA3 M.2 drives.
