The Supermicro SuperBlade 4119S-C2N Server is a single socket system compatible with the AMD EPYC 7003 or 7002 Series Processors. 8x DIMM slots are supported by the single CPU socket along with dual hot-pluggable 2.5-inch hybrid drive bays. In addition, 2x M.2 drives can be installed on the system board.
A single AMD EPYC 7003 or 7002 powers the Supermicro SuperBlade 4119S-C2N Server. This server node is housed in the Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosure 820C, 820J, and 820L families. Each of the Supermicro SuperBlade enclosures can hold up to 20x of these half-height server blades. This SuperBlade supports a total of 8x DIMM slots. Fully configured, this half-height node will provide up to 2TB of memory plus dual 2.5-inch hot-pluggable hybrid drive bays compatible with NVMe/SATA3/SAS3 drives. An additional 2x PCIe M.2 slots are also available on the system board for additional superfast storage or to support the OS.

The Supermicro 4119S-C2N server is powered by a single CPU socket compatible with the AMD EPYC 7003 or 7002 Series Processors. The system hardware allows for a Thermal Design Point (TDP) of up to 280W, enabling AMD EPYC processors with up to 64 physical cores and 128 virtual threads. AMD EPYC processors support PCIe 4.0 data transfer speeds and up to 8x memory channels.
Dual 2.5-inch hot-pluggable drive bays are available on the front of the system. These drive bays can be populated with NVMe, SAS3, or SATA3 drives. For fast access storage or for hosting the system OS, dual M.2 drives can be installed in the PCIe 4.0 x4 slots on the edge of the system board.
With 8x DIMM slots, the Supermicro 4119S-C2N node can house a single memory module in each of the 8x memory channels. A fully configured system can hold up to 2TB of memory when 256GB 3DS DDR4 3200MHz memory modules are installed. Both Load-Reduced DIMMs (LRDIMMs) and Registered DIMMs (RDIMMs) are supported on this system and feature speeds of up to 3200MHz.
To expand the capabilities of the Supermicro 4119S-C2N Server node the compatible enclosures of the Supermicro 4119S-C2N Server have options for ethernet switches that support different data transfer speeds. This particular node supports dual 25G onboard via Mellanox CX4 for network controllers, which connect to the enclosure I/O modules via the midplane.
Server management is achieved through the Supermicro 4119S-C2N Server’s compatible enclosures. The enclosure that hosts this server grants access to the integrated Aspeed AST2500 Baseboard management Controller (BMC) in each server node. The integrated Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0 is compatible with KVM over IP and Virtual Media over LAN.
Offering 2nd or 3rd Gen AMD EPYC Series Processors, the Supermicro SuperBlade 4119S-C2N is a single socket server compatible with several Supermicro SuperBlade Enclosures. A single 8U enclosure can house up to 20x of the half-height 4119s-C2N servers and up to 100 CPUs in a fully outfitted 42U enclosure. When fully configured, each server node supports up to 2TB of memory, 2x hot-pluggable NVMe/SAS3/SATA3 drive bays and 2x PCIe x4 M.2 drives.
