It can support a maximum of 3TB, and houses 12 drive bays, eight of which are 3.5-inch SATA drive bays while the other four are NVME U.2 bays.

Dual sockets on this system can be populated with 1st or 2nd generation processors. The maximum Thermal Design Power (TDP) wattage is 205W. A select group of Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Platinum categories offer various core counts such as 6, 8, 10, 12, 18, 20, 24, and 28. To power the system, a redundant 3 + 1 configuration of 3,000 Watt or 4,800 Watt 80-plus Platinum power supplies is available.
The Tyan B7119F83V8E4HR-2T-NS Server houses 12x drive bays. Eight of those drive bays are 3.5-inch SATA bays while the other four are NVMe U.2 bays. Using the integrated software RAID controller, this system will support RAID levels of 0/1/10/5.
Each CPU socket supports 12 DIMM slots for a total of 24 active DIMM sockets in a two-processor configuration. Supported DIMM modules include DDR4 Registered DIMMs (RDIMM) and Load Reduced DIMMs (LRDIMM), as well as DDR4 JEDEC NVDIMM and Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory Modules or PMem. The maximum capacity for the RDIMM and LRDIMM options is 1.5TB, while the RDIMM and LRDIMM 3DS modules support a maximum capacity of 3TB.
There are 10x double-width PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, plus an additional x16 slot for a high-speed I/O card. TYAN designed this system to handle heavy computational tasks with support from up to 10x double-width GPUs. In addition to the GPU expansion slots, there is a single PCIe x16 slot for a Network Interface Controller (NIC) on the back of the system which grants 100Gb/s transfer speeds. There are a total of four USB 3.0 ports split evenly between the front and back of the system.
The intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0 is supported by an Onboard Aspeed AST2500 chipset. Redfish API is also supported by the AST2500. This server also has LEDs on the front to indicate server health including temperature and drive failure. Featuring a single-root topology, all the GPUs are connected to a single CPU through the switched PCIe lanes.
