The Supermicro SuperBlade 610P-1C2N server node is designed for Cloud Services, Simulation and Modeling, AI Inferencing, and High-Performance Computing (HPC). Supermicro’s 6U SuperBlade Enclosure 610J-822, 610J-622, and 610J-422 can house up to 10x of these SuperBlades in a dense configuration. This SuperBlade is a single socket configuration compatible with 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. The single socket supports 16x DIMM slots that can deploy up to 4TB of DDR4 memory. 2x hot-swappable 2.5-inch NVMe/SAS3/SATA3 drive bays can be found on the front of the system.

The front of the system houses dual 2.5-inch hot-swappable NVMe/SAS3/SATA3 drive bays.

The SuperBlade 610P-1C2N is powered by a single socket that supports 3rd Generation Intel Xeon Scalable Processors. Due to the thermal constraints on the system, only CPUs with a configurable thermal design point (cTDP) of 270W are supported. That includes CPUS with up to 38x physical cores and 76x virtual threads.
Storage on this system is provided by 2x 2.5-inch hot-swappable drive bays compatible with NVMe/SAS3/SATA3 drives. In addition, there is also a single NVMe/SATA3 M.2 slot on the system board of the Supermicro 610P-1C2N. implementation of SAS drive formats will require a Broadcom controller.
There are a total of 16x DIMM slots on the Supermicro 610P-1C2N server node. With all 16x memory module slots filled with 256GB memory modules, the system will support up to 4TB of 3DS ECC DDR4-3200MHz Registered or Load Reduced DIMMs. Intel Optane Persistent Memory modules can also be installed on this system. Memory modules with speeds of 2933, 2666, and 2400 MHz, plus the previously mentioned 3200MHz, are supported.
To expand the system capabilities, a 25GbE Ethernet port can be found on the rear of individual SuperBlades. Expansion at a larger scale is provided by the enclosures that house these SuperBlades.
Management of this system is provided through the Intelligent Platform Management Interface (IPMI) 2.0, KVM over IP, and Virtual Media over LAN. IPMI provides remote access to your system through the baseboard management controller or BMC. Supermicro SuperDoctor 5 works with both Windows and Linux-based operating systems and provides information on health status, system inventory, and can be configured to send alerts.
